Forms from the past
Fires burn
Images
Deluded
False forms
In false memories
Scorched pictures
Of events
Unexperienced
Delusions cry out
To the illusions
Ask to be made
Whole





All the layers request that each one becomes real.

The illusions are
Slipping away

Your dreams
Are stronger than
Their reality

Drifting through
The mid-morn sun
The dew is just a memory
On your feet
Like cobwebs
Across your face
Gossamer threads
Weaving through
Your dreams
Caressing your memories

So smile...
Watch the illusions
Fly

Smile again
Spread your wings
And soar beyond them



Afternoon, Going Home 19 Oct 02

In the still
Of a slow autumn day
We sat
And we played
Our little, gentle games
And our music
Filled the afternoon
Drifting slow
With the clouds
Gently playing with the sun
As slowly he goes to his
Place of rest.

Evening
Comes slowly,
Adagio movement
As the moon slowly rises
And Venus slowly sets
With the sun

Our song is sung
The words are now
Complete
The music
Fading
In the afterglow
The stars are shining
In the night
And dancing
With the fireflies


Candles burn
Undimmed
In the window
To call us home
To welcome us
To light our way back
To the place
We belong
