Requiem

The origin of this poem has faded.

Requiem  -  09 Apr 16

The dream has faded
Thoughts linger
Requiem
For a sad unwanted dream
A slow quiet hymn
Fades into the silence
Of the surrounding night
Dream and hymn
Fade together

Dreams live on somewhen else.

Earth Song

This poem grew in the very early hours of the day and has its roots in many different places.

Earth Song  -  12 Aug 13

The song of ancient Earth
Has been carried
Through the ages
Like an hymn
A battle cry
An open prayer
A Love song

She has waited
In time and times
Illuminated by the stars
Sipping from a cup
Of wine
In the gardens of Love
Waiting

Mildly inspired by “Das Lied von der Erde”  ~ Gustav Mahler

Unknown

This could be described as another of my "limite surréaliste" poems ~ I leave it to you to decide.

Unknown  - 03 Jun 13

Words
Wrapped in discomfort
Said in haste
As if they needed
To hurry

Clothed in sunset songs
The shining silence
Of a wordless hymn
Formed from a canticle
Of darkness

In the unknown darkness
Of an unlimited place
Where thoughts meld
And share a space
With words

Opening the dark
Shaving the moments
From the day
Borderline madness
From which truth is born

Muse is having fun with my mind ~ I rather like it.
For those who haven't been following ~ I am using the phrase "limite surréaliste" to indicate where my works are borderline surreal.
