Enchantment, can you hear?

In the night

When all else 

Is calm and quiet

Some gentle sounds 

Can be heard

Songs of the spirits

The guardians 

Of the world

Weave their spells 

Of protection

Sweet songs of night

To be heard 

Within and around

The wakeful 

As they slip into sleep

.

Can also be an effective lullaby.

Watchers walk
Guardians of our peace
In Love they gather us
Hold us forever





I had it in mind to write another Love song but this poem twisted in my grasp and formed into what you see here.  Well ... Muse knows what I should be writing.
