Sea Of Words

This poem was born out of a stray phrase my mind dropped into my consciousness.

Lost in the sea
Words wrap themselves
Inextricably
Around my mind
Kraken snare
Ensnared
By the words
Net cast into the waves
Words as bait
I catch myself again
Haul myself aboard
Watch as I continue
To spin the words
And dream into
The sea of words
Again





Though it may have been Muse prompting my brain to release the phrase.

 

Doorway

Taking limite surréaliste to a higher level gradually, it is my intent to take these as far as I can.

Wind in open doors
Casting shadows
Cascading echoes
Trap thoughts
In melancholy branches
Eyes of the night
Watch intently
As the ocean sings
Lullabies
To the children
Of the Kraken

I really do not know how far I can take these poems but I shall continue as far as I can.
